Study options - Flexibility is the key
Each student's circumstance is different. The International Primary School takes great pride in being able to cater for all learning situations simply and effectively.
- Pick one or more subjects to support work done at a local school. This option is useful if you are worried that the local school is not up to international standards. Your child can study the key subjects (English, Maths or Science) through the International Primary School and yet attend a local school. You can be assured that your child will achieve proper instruction in these subjects.
- Short-term full curricular package or key subjects. This option is useful if your children are away from their usual school for a short period of time and you don't want them to fall behind. We will mirror closely the materials that they would have been presented had they stayed at their usual school. When the students return to their school, they will not have a gap in their knowledge. This option also avoids complex enrolment procedures that are the norm with many international schools and may not be worthwhile for the short to medium term.
- The complete International Primary School education package (all subjects), but without an in-house teacher sourced by The Flying Teachers. This option is useful for those who have a suitable tutor/teacher (parent, other family or staff member) available to assist the student with his/her education. This person does not require a teaching qualification, although this would be an advantage. We will provide all the curricular materials and provide ongoing support. A bi-annual report will be provided based on daily progress reports submitted by the tutor/teacher and the online assessments that are built into the learning programs.
- The complete International Primary School package, but with The Flying Teachers providing a fully qualified in-house teacher. With this option, we will take on the full responsibility of educating your child to international standards. The big advantage is, that it all happens right at your home. Each in-house teacher commits to a placement of minimum six months.
